When the Vogue editors heard that one of their favourite accessory brands, Wandler, was venturing into the denim market, they mentally set aside funds there and then. Launched exclusively on Matches, Elza Wandler’s six-style trouser collection doesn’t just include denim: there are some beautifully-cut leather options in there too, all with the same elegant minimalism we’ve come to expect from the Dutch label. Our pick? It was a toss up between the green leather trousers and the ’70s high-waisted jeans. In the end we went for the latter – nothing like a flattering cinched high-waist, clean blue colour (no stonewash), and a kick flare hem to show off those post-lockdown heels.

Alessandro Michele drew inspiration from Guccio Gucci for the Bamboo 1947 bag shape. Like the beloved Diana bag, the 1947 has a sturdy bamboo handle, with an added clasp and cross-body strap. The black colourway is a timeless classic.

Oswalde founder Jenna Fletcher has mastered the art of talking-point interiors. The independent seller called upon South London artist Andu to create the dreamiest candle holder, which Fletcher appropriately describes as “insanely clever, rational and quite frankly, stupidly chic.”
